Sponsorships Levels:
Sand
Your $250 donation will provide that your name or logo will be printed on the event banner and listed on the DesBorder website.
Shells
Your $500 donation will provide that your name or logo will be printed on the event banner and listed on the DesBorder website. Additionally, minimum of 2 social media posts before, during, and/or after the event. Social media accounts include Desborder FB/IG, Cans4Books FB/IG, and World Design Capital FB/IG.
Whale
Your $1000 donation will provide all of the above PLUS our artisan will etch your name, organization, or company name on the whale sculpture as a founding sponsor and your generosity will be on display to multiple community cleanups throughout the year. PLUS you’ll be entered into the “Name the DesBorder Whale” contest.*
*For each $1000 donation, two (2) different names can be entered into the contest. The winner will be selected by the DesBorder project leaders and volunteers. Any submissions or sponsorships received after July 15 will not be eligible for entry into the contest. The appropriateness of the names will be determined by the project leaders, and if necessary, you will be informed if a new name needs to be submitted.
Ocean
What do you have in mind? The Ocean sponsorship is our fluid option. Do you have a donation idea that is larger than $1000 or an in-kind donation. Please contact us at info@desborder.org and we can talk.
Cans4Books is classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the standards of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Therefore, the donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donations will be allocated toward building the DesBorder whale sculpture, DesBorder cleanup event, and to provide free and accessible children’s books to San Diego communities with Cans4Books.
